The food was amazing!! Antonio was my waiter and his service was spot on. He always made sure we were enjoying our food. The chicken and shrimp were cooked very well and the dumplings were amazing. Very worth the cost. Highly recommend this Thai spot in playa del Carmen.
Thoughtful service, outstanding food, and wonderful atmosphere! Antonio has wonderful recommendations and is highly accommodating of anyone with dietary restrictions (I am celiac gluten free and vegetarian). Many options for starters, mains, and desserts. Get the mango sticky rice!
Amazing, amazing, amazing! It was our last night in Playa del Carmen; we had eaten only Mexican and Italian all week and were seeking the best Thai food in the city. We came to Po Thai and we were not disappointed. The pina colada was hands-down the best one we had all week and apparently they’re known to have the top three in the city. It was almost as thick as a milk shake We had two noodle dishes and one curry. I can definitely say they were as good as we’ve ever had anywhere. The service was amazing, especially from Daniel! And the atmosphere was very cozy and warm. We will definitely return here and recommend to family and friends
Absolutely loved this place! I'm quite picky about Thai food, but this place did not disappoint. Our server Antonio was some of the best service we had in Playa. We did a great job of recommending dishes, caring about dietary restrictions, and he was sincerely really nice. The cocktails were also excellent! Highly recommend!
I’m glad to find this Thai restaurant just a few minutes away from my condo in center of Playa del Carmen. I have been here twice for dinners already. Excellent service and exceptional food. The stick rice and mango dessert is the best one I have ever had even better than I had in Thailand.
Truly authentic Thai food in the heart of Playa del Carmen! Antonio was a fantastic server - all of his suggestions were spot on perfection. I didn’t know that I wanted a pina coloda until he suggested it and it truly was delicious. He recommended protein choices and dishes and everything was delicious. Grateful for Antonio, his kindness and care. The food was, of course, rich in flavor. I also had a Thai coffee which I also highly recommend! Do not hesitate to come here! I will be back.
Best Thai place in town. We went there for Valentine’s dinner with reservations. Seated immediately, nice ambiance. Food was authentic and beautiful presented. We had the jumbo shrimp and shrimp summer rolls. We had a great evening!
Everything was great! Food was delicious, service was spectacular. Our waiter was Antonio and he was wonderful. His English was perfect too. I highly recommend eating here for delicious Thai Food!
